ERROR ONE is a nomadic initiative for contemporary art and organizes project which are not linked to a specific space. Context, content, location and dialogue are all connected.
ERROR ONE is a platform for exhibitions, performances, discussions and focusses on young artists, new ideas, new ways of presenting, a new dialogue.
ERROR ONE wishes to connect young artists with the professional artworld, and organizes local, as well as international projects.
ERROR ONE is nomadic and creates exhibitions, mostly in coöperation with other partners, in vacant city buildings and in alternative spaces, to bring contemporary art in the city.
ERROR ONE is looking for crossovers with other art practices.

ERROR ONE uses the very hotel room itself as a starting point for the presentation of video work, photos, sculptures and drawings. The artworks developed out of a fascination and concern of the artist. These works are all dealing with the concept of home, liveability, surroundings: works that are questioning functionality of everyday things, or the lack of it, works that question our relationship towards our surroundings, works that reveal the influence of our surroundings. Presented in the context of this hotel room, new stories develop.
The artists all participated in former ERROR ONE projects. International renowned artists, such as the Australian Shaun Gladwell as well as young promising artists, such as Fia Cielen and Ester Vannuten, are participating in this project. Other Flemish artists include Marc De Blieck and Goele De Bruyn, who is also doing a performance at the opening of Art Brussels.
